My name is Liudmyla Vlasova. Doing the business program at SELC Career College was a life-changing experience for me. I came to Canada from Ukraine with some financial and banking background and many facets of the North America’s ways of making business were new to me. I found this course to be of an exceptional quality and easy to follow. The program is designed and administered so seamlessly that I not only felt ‘the warm welcome,’ but my group and peers become a support system throughout my stay as well. The pleasant time spent in SELC was also due to the professional and wonderful attitude of all the people working there.
The SELC Career College offers students an opportunity to develop their leadership and general management skills through an exceptionally interactive, team based approach of learning. I found the intensive program to be very personalized while affording me with valuable one-on-one relationships with the group. The program has a strong international focus where students learn business principles relevant for a more global world.
To operate in a progressive business environment you need to be equipped with solid leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills, all with a global perspective. In my opinion, these qualities were not only achieved by numerous case studies, presentations and reading materials, but the opportunity to work for a co-op program in an international company as an Account Manager has definitely given me these self-qualities.
I have enjoyed my experience and will cherish not only the business knowledge I gained but also the friendships that I made. I  would definitely recommend the business program at SELC Career College to anyone.

My experience at SELC? I can say that it is one of the best experiences of my study life. I already have a background in hospitality studies, but the things that I’m learning at SELC are amazing. I am currently studying the 1 Year Hospitality Management Diploma program at SELC Career College. The program that I am studying is very interesting, but at the same very difficult. I am able to apply the skills that I have learnt in the class to real situations in the workplace. Studying at SELC, you get to meet all different kinds of people from around the world. I didn’t think I would have so many friends with different nationalities. All the instructors are all very nice and helpful.
